It's my spot on the Random Things blog tour for The Women Could Fly - it's a short but slippery novel and I found myself wavering back and forth between different ratings over each and every page I read.

Blog Tour and Review: The Knave of Secrets by Alex Livingston
It's my spot on The Write Reads blog tour for Knave of Secrets - a story of cardsharps, gamblers, political machinations and layers and layers of intrigue and magic. It makes for an impressive, although dense, story.
Review: The Carnival of Ash by Tom Beckerlegge
It's time for my stop on the Ultimate Blog Tour with The Write Reads for the Carnival of Ash; a city where not only words have power, but literature does too.
Blog Tour: Judgement Day by Josie Jaffrey
It's my stop on The Write Reads blog tour for Judgement Day by Josie Jaffrey, book two in The Seekers series. It's set in Oxford (also where I work!) and picks up the fast and bloody pace where the previous book leaves off (which I last read back in September 2020).
Spotlight: The Girl of Dorcha Wood by Kristen Ward
It's my spot on The Write Reads blog tour for The Girl of Dorcha Wood - a Gaelic/Celtic-inspired YA fantasy with a Sheriff of Nottingham (or Rottingham)-style villain, a young woman living in the woods under mysterious circumstances and fearsome creatures out of mythology.
Review: The Bone Shard Emperor by Andrea Stewart
It's my spot on the Compulsive Readers Blog Tour for The Bone Shard Emperor, the second instalment in the Drowning Empire series - and I am absolutely loving this set of novels.
Review: A Strange and Brilliant Light by Eli Lee
Whilst certainly imaginative and speculative, A Strange and Brilliant Light never quite managed to wholly grab my attention, although I still enjoyed the context and the interlaced characters.
Review: Things to do Before the End of the World by Emily Barr
Who knew that YA pre-apocalyptic thriller was a genre I was missing? Apparently Emily Barr did because that was something I've never read before, and I found myself getting really into it!!
Review: Kate in Waiting by Becky Albertalli
This is my first taste of Becky Albertalli's writing, and it was lovely. It's the exact kind of sweet contemporary YA that is easy to consume, makes you feel a little gooey inside (but would probably become a bit sickly with too much consumption!)
Review: The Beautiful Ones by Silvia Moreno-Garcia
Was this finally going to be the book of Silvia Moreno-Garcia's that I didn't like? ... Absolutely not. There is something captivating and raw about the characters that she writes, particularly her female protagonists, that I could read these characters endlessly.
