And in the spirit of the last time I did a WWW Wednesday – a life update!
I started my new job and it’s great. I’m very busy, but doing all the things that I enjoyed the most about my previous job. And I have both less and more time for reading – less as I now cycle (!) to work each day, and more because my commute A THIRD of what it was each day, so I get a bunch of time back. Whee!!
The Three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
I’m currently reading A Gathering of Shadows by V. E. Schwab. I only read my first Schwab this year, and I have missed out on so many good books. I have a bunch of ARCs that I’m completely in debt with, but I just want to read something that I know I will enjoy before I embark on the next one.
I most recently finished reading The Vine Witch by Luanne G. Smith for a blog tour. And I really enjoyed it! Loved the hedgewitchery feel, and definitely will be looking out for more books in the same style. I had a few issues with the magic system, but that just be high fantasy Hannah being picky.
Next, I’m going to be reading The Memory Thief by Lauren Mansy – it’s my next book book blog tour and I’m hoping it will be fun, but all the reviews of it I’ve seen so far have been quite low …
Have you read any of these books? Do you have thoughts? Let me know!

Thanks! I hope you enjoy a Dance with Dragons – get on it! 🙂
I hope so, too!🙂
I have the Vine Witch and I was hoping I was going to get to it this month but I don’t think I will be able to 😦
I hope you will enjoy your time with AGOS! It’s one of my all time favorite series. Have a wonderful week and happy reading! Here’s my WWW.
Thanks- it seems like Schwab can do no wrong!
I really need to try one of Schwab’s books. I feel like I’ve been seeing them everywhere lately! I get what you mean about choosing a book you know will be great before going back to ARCs. I’ve been having the same experience lately. I’ve read some pretty mixed reviews about The Memory Thief. It has such a great premise though! Hopefully you enjoy it 🙂 Jen
I read my first Schwab book I think late last year, and just fell in love with her writing! Hope you enjoy it. I haven’t read that series yet, but it’s on my radar to read soon. :3 The Memory Thief has a gorgeous cover! Shame that the early reviews haven’t been all that great. Hopefully, it meets your expectations. happy reading!
Here’s my WWW post.
Yes – I’ve just been reading more and more of her stuff – it’s quite addictive!
