Review: The End of the World Survivors Club by Adrian J. Walker
The End of the World Survivors Club managed to explore new areas of a post-apocalyptic world, whilst still mainting the fast pace and anxiety-inducing action of the previous book, as a family tried to reunite against all the odds.
Review: American Royals by Katharine McGee
Well, this completely threw me. I got froth, romance and gala balls, but with an unexpected amount of substance!
Review: Kingdom of Souls by Rena Barron
This book is dark, gritty, ugly and exciting fantasy. It's a complex, richly-imagined world and takes a no-holds barred approach to both the story and characters.
Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Enjoyed that are Outside of My Comfort Zone
This is a great theme - I try to read quite broadly (but often fall back on fantasy as my go-to genre). But there are still lots of books that I've enjoyed that have definitely pushed my normal limits/expectations.
